2018

June:

Northern France and the Normandy was our destination in our camper van this year. We found the Atlantic coast along the English Channel with its magnificent chalk cliffs, extended beaches and charming harbour towns very impressive. On long hikes we were rewarded with magnificent views and beautiful photo motives. In the historic towns we marveled at the beautifully restored half-timbered houses and the gothic cathedrals.

Jan.:

My first trip this year was to the small town Kiilopää in Finland. It is located approx. 200 km north of the polar circle in Finnish Lapland. There I had the great opportunity, together with my friend Michael Falldorf, to photograph northern lights. For myself it was the first time I experienced this spectacular nature phenomena. It was fantastic to see the Aurora Borealis and to be able to capture the moment with my camera. Only on the photograph can one see the vivid colors of the aurora. With the naked eye they normally appear only in grey and white tones.

2017

Nov.:

Another great time on the "Island of the Gods", Bali. The diving was exceptional in Amed, just Sabine, myself and our guide.

We were fortunate to get away before the Mt. Agung Volcano erupted.

July:

Drove down to the South Tyrol Alps in Italy.

April:

First visit to the island Helgoland in the North Sea of Germany.

2016

Oct.:

Back again to Lembeh Strait and Bangka Island, North Sulawesi for another fantastic diving experience

Mai:

Baja Kalifornien: 13 night dive expedition to the Socorro Islands, Mexico aboard the " Rocio del Mar ". Juni-Juli stayed in L. A. and took short trips to Morro Bay, Ca. and Texas.

April:

In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Gemany I had the opportunity to photograph nesting cranes

Visited the Kruger National Park in South Africa

Dive trip to the Alam Batu Resort in Bali, Indonesien.

Jan.:

Diving Bonaire Island in the Caribbean for my 70. birthday

Nov.:

Diving in Sulawesi, Indonesien in der Lembeh Strait, Bangka Island and in Bunaken Marine Park.

2013

April:

Spent 3 months in the US. travelling, among other places, to Yellowstone NP, Bryce canyon NP, Josuha Tree NP, Sequoia NP, und Yosemite NP. Purchased a camper van and was able to sell it before leaving.
